Animal movement restrictions

My holding is under TB restriction – can I send cattle?

Yes. You need to declare that your holding is under a TB restriction on the FCI form . If the cattle are on a General Movement Licence we only require one copy per processing plant and will keep it on file. If the cattle are on a TB24, the licence needs to come with the cattle. Please contact Animal Health if you are unsure. We are not licensed to kill TB reactors.

I have moved livestock onto my holding within the last 6 days (England). Does the 6-day rule apply if I’m bringing livestock directly to slaughter?

No they can come direct to slaughter.

I have moved livestock onto my holding within the last 13 days (Scotland). Does the 13-day rule apply if I’m bringing livestock directly to slaughter?

No they can come direct to slaughter.

I show my cattle – does the number of movements in the passport matter?

No.
